Who we are
Judd & Cary are both artists who had a vision. After purchasing the old Goodman Store in Timber Ridge, VA that came with an old 4-stall horse barn, they got to work. First, they began taking walls down, then putting wood floors in and framing the barn. With help from local craftsmen, they have transformed this rustic space into a conditioned workshop where they teach ceramics and other art workshops in addition to having their own artist studio space.
Beginning wheel classes began in February and offerings have continued to expanded. This is a space to learn different disciplines, so let us know what you’d like to see us bring to the community! Email us from the footer below and sign up for our updates.

The Workshop at Timber Ridge plans to continue growing into a place where people can come together to create community.
