Wheel Throwing Class
Beginners: 8 weeks, 7-9PM Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays (beginning late January/early February 2025)

Basic wheel classes are for learning the process of throwing pots on an electric wheel. From wedging clay, centering, pulling walls, shaping, trimming, to decorating and glazing, you will gradually develop the skills you need to make food safe pottery you can use.
Price includes first 25lb. bag of clay, glazes, and firing. Additional clay can be purchased.
Classes are small and each student will get plenty of personal attention.
Handbuilding Class
8 weeks, 7-9PM Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays (beginning late January/early February 2025)

Basic handbuilding classes cover the foundations of clay work. Pinch, coil, and slab techniques will be used to make functional items without the need for pottery wheels. Along with forming, different decorating techniques will be used like stamping, carving, glazing, and brushwork.
Price includes first 25lb. bag of clay, glazes, and firing. Additional clay can be purchased.
Classes are small and each student will get plenty of personal attention.
To protect our kilns, clay must be from our shop. We have our own studio glazes for you to use. We do not allow any other glazes or underglazes on pots we are to fire for you. You are welcome to bring your own tools.
